I purchased a Vera Wang at HH Gregg. I thought I got a great deal. It was well over 1,000.00 and we paid 800.00 We were told it had a 10 year warranty. Well two years later, it is lumping and sagging. The headquarters told us to go pick out a new one and they would pick up the old one. We went to replace it and there isnt a Vera Wang for that price and they don't make that mattress any more. They offered us a credit on the mattress which was 100.00 less than what we paid. We were angry about the mattress and the salesmen asked the manager if they could give a credit on a range.
We asked if they would pick up our mattress. They acted like they were doing this deal because it would cost that much more for us to get a new mattress. Well as you say delivery time came they called told us it would be there Sat. It didnt come in. They called at 6:30 the next day and said they were to make the delivery and pick up our mattress. We said we can't have you take our mattress. We couldnt find a replacement. They sucker you into buying a replacement contract and then if the product is bad you have to pay twice again for the product. I understand them needing the old mattress back, but they need to give me another Vera Wang. That was the deal. You really have to be careful paying for the extended policy too. It looks like they have modified it so they don't have to give you the same product so five years down the road. You'll find out the product is no longer available, or more expensive because the salesman is not trying to make a deal with you.
